ClassPing shows the UMT School of Systems and Technology MS/PhD timetable and reminds you before the classes you attend. It is an unofficial app built by Ayesha Iftikhar, a UMT student. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Management and Technology.

Common Questions
How do I add my classes?
On the Browse tab, pick MS or PhD, then search by course name, code, section or instructor. Tap the sections you attend. They appear on the My classes tab as a list or a calendar.
My reminders don't arrive
- Check that notifications are allowed for the app in your phone's settings.
- Check that Class reminders is switched on in the app's Reminders tab.
- Open the app now and then. It keeps your next 60 reminders scheduled and tops them up each time it opens.
- On Android, battery saver can delay reminders by a few minutes. Removing battery restrictions for the app helps.
How do I load a new semester's timetable?
On the Reminders tab, tap Import from Excel (.xlsx) and pick the timetable file. Importing replaces the current timetable and clears your selected classes and reminders, so you choose your sections again afterwards.
Are the class dates official?
No. The timetable comes from a published workbook and may change. Always confirm dates, times and rooms with official UMT announcements.
Do I need an account or internet?
No. There is no sign-in, and the app works offline. Everything stays on your phone.
How do I delete my data?
Deselect your classes in the app, clear the app's data in your phone's settings, or uninstall the app. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
